Dr. Vinayak Kale

Dr. Vinayak Kale is an experienced General Physician, Diabetologist and Cardiologist in Pune. At present, he is the Director of the Department of Medicine at Lokmanya Hospital in Nigdi, where he has been practising for the past 16 years. During this time, prior to his current designation, he held different posts, including Chief Medical Officer, ICU Registrar, Resident Consulting Physician, and Incharge of Diabetes Unit. Dr. Kale can currently also be consulted at Madhuruddh Clinic (Sambhaji Nagar) and Apollo Clinic (Nigdi).

Dr. Vinayak Kale holds an MBBS degree from BJ Medical College, Pune, which he obtained in April 1990. He then pursued the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Medicine at KEM Hospital in Pune and cleared the examination in 1997. In 2002 and 2003 he successfully completed courses in Practical Diabetology at Steno Diabetes Center (Denmark) and an Introduction to Diabetes Care at the University of Newcastle (Australia) respectively. In 2005 he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Diabetes Care at the University of Newcastle, Australia.

Prior to his current post, Dr. Kale has practised at several other hospitals in Pune. For three years he served as RMO in the Department of Medicine at Pune's KEM Hospital. He also worked as ICU Registrar at KEM Hospital and Sanjeevan Hospital. Between 2003 and 2008, Dr. Kale served as Senior Medical Consultant at Daimler-Chrysler, in addition to his responsibilities at Lokmanya Hospital.

Dr. Kale regularly attends national and international conferences, workshops and training programmes to enhance his knowledge and skills. He is actively involved in conducting various workshops, seminars and educational programmes in Diabetology and Cardiology for doctors, paramedical staff and patients.
